Cristy Jennings is an executive with a proven record of strategic leadership and accomplishment in nonprofit fund raising, planning, administration, and program development. She has expertise in methodical fund development. Her extensive experience over the past 25 years includes cultivation and stewardship, foundation and corporate relations, writing and reviewing grant proposals, annual funds, major gifts, planned gifts, capital campaigns, and a myriad of special events. She excels in creating and implementing strategic fund development and marketing plans that support the organization’s strategic plan.

Cristy’s experience in nonprofit marketing and public relations includes identifying target audiences and corresponding messages, creating and developing a brand and collateral materials, and website content and graphics. She has also been responsible for advertising, editorial coverage and press conferences, direct marketing campaigns, promotions, workshops and seminars, conference exhibits, and health fairs.

Cristy has worked for human health service organizations, a literacy coalition, at-risk youth organizations, a domestic violence and sexual assault prevention agency, and several arts organizations including symphony, theater arts, music, and dance for children with disabilities.

Cristy is an accomplished team builder with exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills. Her leadership style is to build consensus and commitment by valuing, empowering, and mentoring her team. She works successfully with all functions and levels of management within an organization. Throughout her career she has worked comfortably and successfully with sports stars and other celebrities. Known for her diplomacy and the calm, even manner with which she meets goals and exceeds expectations, Cristy is often referred to as “quietly dynamic”.

Currently, Cristy is providing executive leadership to the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies, a local 501(c)3 accreditation institute providing training, and continuing education units to mental health professionals.
